Championing Communities

High impact syndication delivered to every UK region

Our approach

We help tell story of how National Lottery funding has made a difference in every corner of the UK.

Storybeat works with the National Lottery to tell the stories of the ordinary people who do extraordinary things with the help of National Lottery funding.

We helped make heroes of those community champions from the arts to sport to heritage and charities in a #ThanksToYou campaign that generated millions of pounds worth of coverage across national and regional media.

These everyday stars were able to enjoy their hero moment in variety of ways, some saw their faces beamed onto Stonehenge, others had famous sports arenas named in their honour, and BBC Repair Shop’s Jay Blades designed a series of benches to reflect other community contributions. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/world-famous-stonehenge-illuminated-in-dedication-to-the-unsung-champions-of-heritage-110828468.html

We revealed how much the public has missed visiting their ‘happy place’ – their favourite visitor attraction or venue – during lockdown restrictions, as well as the most popular ‘happy place’ locations around the UK.

We also promoted a range of National Lottery campaigns, from their annual awards to their Open Week and the National Lottery Cinema Weekend, which sees venues around the UK offer discounts and free entry as a thank you for the £30million raised for good causes every week.
