Halifax brought communities closer together as part of The Big Lunch – an Eden Project initiative designed to get as many people in the UK as possible to sit down, have lunch and talk to their neighbours.

Storybeat created a full range of multimedia content that ran across local and regional press, highlighting some of the events across the UK.
The Big Lunch is a one-day get-together encouraging people to share a meal with their neighbours and get to know one another a little better. In the final year of the partnership, 9.3 million people took to their streets, gardens and neighbourhoods to join in for a few hours of community, friendship and fun.
