For nearly a decade Storybeat has worked with the Kennel Club, the world’s oldest organisation dedicated to the welfare of dogs.
We have a wide-ranging brief to promote their Crufts dog show via text and video content, which is syndicated across our international, national and regional media clients.
Held every March, Crufts is the world’s largest dog show with a history dating back to 1891.
Our team also produce a range of video news releases throughout the event and provide a flow of content for social media channels.
In 2018, nearly 4,000 content items were generated and published across more than 150 channels, generating more than £3 million of media value for the Kennel Club and its partners.
The most popular content strand was the Kennel Club’s ‘Friends for Life’ campaign, which honours dogs who play a leading role in helping people battle adversity. The shortlist and final received wide attention across the national media, with Geri Horner presenting the prize to Vanessa Holbrow. She credits Border Terrier Sir Jack Spratticus with saving her life.
Our 2018 Friends for Life winners Vanessa & Jack’s story showcases the positive impact owning a dog can have on your mental health. Not only has Jack increased Vanessa’s confidence, he has given her a reason to live her life to the fullest! #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek pic.twitter.com/MBkPe0bBdy
