We told the story of the winners of their annual awards – 11 inspirational entrepreneurs from across the country who blazed a trail for the small business community through lockdown.

We worked with research in conjunction with the Lloyds Bank Academy that revealed how almost half of small businesses want to upskill their technical know-how.

We drilled down on research data that revealed how two fifths of women (42%) were motivated to think about starting a business out of a passion – by far the biggest reason cited.

And revealed how 59% of Brits support small businesses more than previously, following the major role firms played in communities during coronavirus lockdowns – an important statistic ahead of Small Business Saturday.
